A little bit about me.

Thanks for stopping by. And if you’ve already had a look at the work, I hope you liked it.

Maybe it gave you an idea of who I am. If so, fantastic.

But if not, let me try and help.

I’m a creative director who’s worked in London, New York, and Amsterdam. For ten years I worked in advertising agencies, for the next seven years I worked in-house at Google Creative Lab, and for the last year or so I’ve led the creative department at a purpose consultancy called Revolt.

I like to get my hands dirty. Quite often, that starts with words. For me, words are a prototyping tool – for ideas, for products, for whatever you’re creating. They’re simple, immensely powerful, and very quickly let you know if your idea is rubbish.

I’m also a creative who likes challenges. I’ve always tried to put myself into situations that scare me. Whether that’s commissioning a life-size car made out of ice for my first ever brief – or coming up with a new feature for a platform that’s used by billions of people.

When it comes to the creative process, I’m strategic. And I’m collaborative. I like to interrogate the problem, and I see the value in all opinions.

And whatever I create, it has to matter. It has to help. It has to have a positive reason for existing.

Other than that? I’m a husband and a dad. I live in Peckham. I have two kids who make life interesting on a daily basis. And I once acted with Benedict Cumberbatch. But that’s a story for another time.
